Posting for the owner
Rupert (currently living in the Toronto area) is a handsome, six-year-old neutered Golden Retriever weighing approximately 75 pounds. He is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves people and gets along well with cats. Like many Goldens, Rupert enjoys mealtime, chasing his ball, and spending time in the water. Rupert is a strong dog with plenty of enthusiasm. He can sometimes pull on leash and would benefit from continued training and guidance from someone experienced and confident handling larger dogs. Because he is unaware of his size and strength, he may accidentally knock someone over when excited. A home without small children or seniors would be the best fit for him. Rupert is looking for a loving country home with a large, securely fenced yard where he can enjoy the outdoors and be the only dog in the household. This sweet, goofy, and loyal boy has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for the right family. A small adoption fee will apply. If you feel Rupert may be a good match for your home, please complete the application form. We look forward to hearing from you. ❤️🐾
I am looking to place a wonderful 4 yr. old male into the perfect home, but have him remain part of my guardianship program.
He cannot be neutered for 2 yrs!
He is silly, smart, affectionate and of course beautiful. I am looking for a home where he will be the only dog, only because I think he deserves all the attention. Someone who is around during the day and lives in a country setting with a large fully fenced yard would be perfect. You need to be strong as he is a big boy although he walks nicely on a leash. He is good in cars and gets along with other dogs and cats & loves people.. He could sit for hours and be petted, but is not needy. He is very easy to live with and settles very nicely in the house. He is a really great dog, someone will be very lucky!
If you would like to be considered for Oxford please fill in the Guardianship application and read the FAQ page.
